Dear Friends,

I hope this message finds you well. After much reflection and prayer, I wanted to personally share that I have accepted a new position as Vice President of Government Affairs at Monument Health and will be stepping down from my role as CEO at the John T. Vucurevich Foundation at the end of December. This decision comes with both excitement for the road ahead and deep gratitude for the time I’ve spent leading this remarkable organization.

Since 2019, it has been my privilege to witness the tremendous community commitment to our vision—strengthening our community, uplifting those in need, and laying the groundwork for lasting change. I am incredibly proud of the work we have accomplished and the unwavering dedication of the phenomenal Board of Directors and staff I leave behind, who I am confident will continue driving forward our mission.

As we embark on this transition, please know that the foundation’s strategic priorities remain steadfast, and the search for a new CEO is underway. Our selection committee seeks a compassionate and visionary leader to build upon our momentum and ensure our continued success.

The board will be actively seeking candidates who share our values and passion for ensuring that working families and thriving children reach their full potential. If you have any questions or would like to apply, inquiries will be welcomed until October 11th. The full job description is available on our website and we encourage interested individuals to follow the application process outlined in the second part of this email.

Though my time as CEO is coming to a close, I remain committed to ensuring a smooth transition, and I am confident the foundation will continue to make a piece of the world a brighter place.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we have achieved so much, and I look forward to seeing how the foundation’s next chapter unfolds.

With gratitude,
Alan Solano
President and CEO
